The Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption's findings on the budget padding scandal would be forwarded to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and the Presidency, when completed, for further action.
This was disclosed on Thursday in Abuja by the Chairman of the Committee, Professor Itse Sagay, SAN.
Sagay, however, refused to disclose if the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, would appear before his committee to defend himself, saying: "I cannot tell you that at this point in time."
The Committee had previously met with the former Chairman,Committee on Appropriation, House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, over the issue.
Asked whether necessary sanctions would be recommended for those found culpable in the scandal, Sagay said: "You know in a matter like this, you cannot say anyone is found culpable yet. When an issue arises and someone forwards a petition to us, because this is like a petition, it could be oral or written.
"In this case, it is both, then when a case has been made, we will forward it to the EFCC, which will then do a proper investigation and decide whether or not there is need for prosecution."
