Two persons were on Tuesday reportedly shot at the National Assembly following a protest by members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, better known as Shi’ites. The incident occurred at 2 pm while the plenary was ongoing. According to the Nation, the incident led to the closure of all gates to the National Assembly premises.
