Man shares story of how he spent 33 days in a police cell over a phone call

A Nigerian man identified as Kalu Celestine has shared a sad story of how he was detained at the Inspector General of Police (IGP)'s monitoring unit cell in Port-Harcourt over false accusation.
Celestine took to his social media page to explain that he asked for financial assistance from a brother in his church who promised to help in a week’s time. According to the heartbroken man, they met again and the businessman related his plans to set up a driving school. He asked if Celestine was interested in managing it and he told him to give him some time to think about it. After the father of two had gone through the matter with his family, he called the brother to give him feedback but he asked them to meet in church. Sadly, before their meeting, the family man heard that the brother's car was stolen. When they met and the businessman confirmed it, Celestine said he sympathised with him and prayed to God to help him recover his vehicle. Surprisingly, a month later, Celestine was arrested for being the last person that called the brother before his vehicle was snatched. The family man said he was accused of knowing about the crime and then calling to monitor the brother. The young man is asking people to pray for him as the matter is yet to end.
