U.S. reality TV star Kylie Jenner has announced the birth of her child with rapper Travis Scott, on Sunday after months of assumptions and rumours about her being pregnant.

In a post on Instagram, the 20-year-old member of the Kardashian clan said that her "beautiful, healthy baby girl" arrived on Feb. 1 and apologized to fans for the secrecy about her prenancy. She also made a video titled "To Our Daughter," to shows fans a glimpse of what her pregnancy was like for the past nine months and shows her in the delivery room just after giving birth, holding her newborn baby.



"I�m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions," Jenner wrote. "I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world."

The arrival of Jenner's child sent Twitter in the United States into a frenzy, becoming a trending topic surpassing #SuperBowlSunday hours before the big game. Kylie's mother Kris and sisters Kendall, Kim and Khloe all posted messages of love and support on social media after her announcement.
