 Lil Wayne whose doctors have confirmed is epileptic was hospitalized on Monday after having a problem with his medication and suffering a seizure. According to TMZ, the rapper spent time in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after experiencing the medical issue moments before he was supposed to take the stage for a performance in Las Vegas.

When the media first learned of Wayne's airplane seizures, some speculated that the attacks were a result of the rapper's high intake of codeine syrup


The rapper later downplayed his medical emergency and tweeted he was "good!" after reports started circulating that he was dead.

"False Alarm!" he wrote. "I appreciate da prayers and konsern but I'm good!!! Luv!!!!"

The 33-year-old 'lollipop' rapper has been beset by seizures and health issues in recent weeks. His private jet was forced to make two emergency landings during a cross-country trip last month, prompting him to be hospitalized.
