A Magistrates’ Court in Gombe State on Wednesday ordered that one Haruna Musa, who allegedly assisted his friend to defile his two daughters, be remanded in a Nigerian Correctional Service centre in Gombe State.

The duo, Musa,46, and Yakubu Abubakar,43, were charged for allegedly raping Musa’s under aged seven and nine year old children. The State counsel, Mr Bala Mahmood, had told the court that Musa assisted his friend, Abubakar to defile his two daughters. Musa and Abubakar reportedly committed the offence several times in 2019. When the charge was read to them, they pleaded not guilty. Chief Magistrate Babayo Usamatu adjourned the case until Feb. 28 for further mention.
