Man arrested for killing done on behalf of his girlfriend
The Police in Kano state has arrested a 20-year-old man Ibrahim Magaji for allegedly beating one Auwalu Usaini to death.
According to a spokesperson for the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna confirmed the incident to the press. He explained that the incident happened on Wednesday at about 8:00 PM in Kura local government area of Kano state. Haruna said the accused person Ibrahim Magaji allegedly beat his victim one Auwalu Usaini to death for accusing him of flashing torchlight on his girlfriend while they were having a conversation. He said the case had been transferred to the criminal investigation unit for further investigation. The DSP also confirmed that the corpse of the deceased has already been buried in accordance with Islamic Teachings.
