EFCC arrests 10 suspected fraudsters in Illorin, recovers charm and fake currency

Ten suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The suspected fraudsters were said to have been arrested on Monday, October 21, at Basin Area of Ilorin.
The EFCC in a statement released on Thursday, October 24, said the internet fraudsters were arrested following intelligence reports over their activities. The suspects include Paul Chibuzor, David Daniels, Tolu Ogundowole, Tosin Ogundowole, Agwu Goodness, Olayiwola Azeez, Olamide Ijisesan, Chilaka Dickson, Abdullahi Abubakar and Temitope Bambo. According to the commission, dangerous charms and fake currencies were recovered from the suspects in Ilorin. The fight against corruption and internet fraud by the EFCC is on the front burner, as the EFCC have remained resolute in their promise to put an end to the menace of cyber fraud ravaging the country.
