Coronavirus : French minister of culture tests positive to disease

Franck Riester, the French Minister for Culture, has tested positive for the dreaded novel coronavirus.The Minister is staying in his Paris home but is “doing fine”, his office said Monday, according to The Guardian, UK. The Ministry further explained that “The Minister tested positive today,” after displaying symptoms.
The Ministry explained that the Minister spent several days last week at the country’s lower house National Assembly, where five Covid-19 cases were confirmed earlier.
A statement from the office of the Prime Minister noted that the rules for any Minister with the Coronavirus “are the same for all French people.” It said this include acting with caution and taking measures to minimize the chances of the disease spreading to other people. Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 has already killed nearly 4,000 worldwide. About 25 people have died in France as at Monday.
