Breaking: Amid anxiety among Nigerians, Buhari meets service chiefs in Aso Rock

A day after the members of the National Assembly called for the disengagement of the service chiefs in the country, a meeting between the security bosses and President Muhammadu Buhari has held in Aso Rock. According to reports, The meeting is currently ongoing at the time of this report. In attendance are security advisers to the president and others relevant to the issues slated for discussion. The agenda of the meeting is yet to be made known, but it is coming at a time the lawmakers in the country are asking that the service chiefs should be disengaged. The report said Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), was at the meeting which also had Abba Kyari, the chief of staff to Buhari. The minister of Defence, Defense Major General Bashir Salihi Mahashi (Rtd.), the interior minister, Rauf Aregbesola and Babagana Monguno, the National Security Adviser (NSA), also attended the closed-door meeting.
