Iran has vowed not to release the black box of Ukrainian Boeing-737 with 180 people on board which crashed in the country. The aircraft belonging to Ukraine International Airlines crashed just after take-off from Iran’s Imam Khomeini airport. The crash happened at a time when Iran was threatening to go to war with the United States over the killing of General Qasem Soleimani. The two black boxes from the Ukrainian airliner that crashed outside the capital Tehran were found on Wednesday, Iranian state television reported. Both boxes were reported to have been damaged but it was believed their data could still be retrieved. The head of Tehran’s civil aviation organization, Ali Abedzadeh on Wednesday said that Iran will not give the black box of the crashed Ukrainian airliner to planemaker, Reuters reports. It is not clear which country Iran would send the box to so that its data could be analyzed,” Ali Abedzadeh added.
