EFCC to start investigating medical practitioners soon, Magu gives reason

The head of the anti-corruption agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has said the body will now beam its searchlight on doctors who issue fake medical reports to suspects under prosecution.
Magu, said this in Abuja while having a media chart with journalists. The acting chairman of the EFCC also said the battle to rid the country of internet fraudsters was not a witch-hunt exercise as operatives of the commission carries out their activities through serious investigations. Magu explained that the agency was also investigating the activities of some non-governmental organisations in the north eastern part of the country.
