Music producer Samklef attributes the growth of Afro beats to Wizkid
Popular Nigerian music producer Samklef has said that he would be releasing a documentary on how superstar singer Wizkid inspired Afrobeats revolution in Nigeria.
The music producer took to his social media page to share the news and it got his fans excited. According to him, the documentary would released soon and it would reveal how Wizkid's success started a new Afrobeat movement. He noted that the moment Wizkid became successful in his career, many young people started dropping out of school to start a career in music. Samklef explained that artistes like Dammy Krane and Flow Sick left their academics to pursue their music career. According to him, some people even left America for Nigeria to join the train. Following his tweet on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Samklef’s fans have shared their excitement about the upcoming project. A set of people agreed with his assertion that young people started seeing music as a career after Wizkid's success.
