Kate Henshaw blows hot, says Senator Elisha Abbo's apology is insincere
Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has dismissed the
apology of Senator Elisha Aboo who was caught on tape assaulting a woman
recently, In a series of posts shared on Twitter, Henshaw, stated that
the senator presented a 'hogwash' of an apology and should still be
punished for his actions.
According to the actress, the
apology is insincere, The 41-year-old senator representing Adamawa North
senatorial district, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) was caught on camera physically assaulting a woman at an adult toy
shop in Abuja. Following the backlash Abbo received on social media
since the clip became public, the senator tendered an apology on July 3.
He apologised to Nigerians, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and
women in general for physically assaulting the lady, But Nollywood
actress, Kate Henshaw, appears to be disgusted by the apology. In a
recent post shared on her verified Twitter page, the actress stated that
his apology was insincere and smacked of arrogance. Henshaw stated that
if the senator gets away with this, worse things will happen and people
need to wake up.
