USAID launches $225m IHP in five states

United States Agency for INternational Development (USAID) has launched a new health program me to help five states in Nigeria improve access to primary healthcare and essential commodities.
        USAID mission director Stephen Haykins, said in Abuja on Monday at the launch that the “IHP will bring quality basic healthcare closer to the people and support Nigeria to achieve universal health coverage. The five-year $225 million Integrated Health Programme (IHP) will be implemented in Bauchi, Kebbi and Sokoto states, with two more states to be added soon.
