London City Airport Reopens

A day after a world war II ordnance was found in the River Thames and removed safely, the near by airport which had been closed due to the discovery had reopened and was operating as usual according to airport officials . Flights were cancelled on Monday and a 200 metre exclusion zone was set up by the Met police.
"The World War Two ordnance discovered in King George V Dock has been safely removed by the Royal Navy and Met Police," Robert Sinclair, CEO of London City Airport said in a statement.
"As a result, the exclusion zone has now been lifted and the airport will be open as normal on Tuesday."
