The Resign or Resume protest led by popular entertainer Charles "Charly Boy" Oputa has been suspended indefinitely.

This suspension comes after days of heightened tensions between the pro Buhari protesters and Anti Buhari protesters which has led to Police intervention on several ocassions.

Charly Boy said "We are not deterred by the intimidation and harassment by the sponsored thugs and we cannot be cowed by a few group of people. What government want to do is to ensure that we have a clash with the hired crowd and we will not allow that to happen."�

Charly Boy also revealed that although some members of the protest have received death threats, it will not deter them from fighting for what they believe in.

The Protest Leader also promised to revceal more details regarding the next step soon.
