The Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the Buhari-administration, as it seeks to strengthen the nation's economy.
The Governor made his appeal on Wednesday while receiving a plaque from the leadership of the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering, NATE, Osun state chapter, at his office.
Describing change as a gradual process, Aregbesola said what Nigerians need at the moment is to double their support for Government, as it seeks lasting solutions to the many challenges confronting the nation at the moment.
According to him, "Change does not come easily, change comes generally with pain and it is this pain that will turnout for good. There is no doubt about the fact that we are going through serious socio-economic and politic of unrest and it is my fervent belief that after this period, Nigerians will experience good life, joy and happiness."
He likened this period to that of labor, stressing that "When a pregnant woman is about to deliver, she goes through unaccountable pains and agony."
