Unknown persons set ablaze, the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Bori, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers state.
Rivers State has been engulfed in political tension for months now; and INEC had previously canceled elections in the area, due to violence.
The incident comes ahead of rerun elections, which are expected to hold on July 31.
The arson incident has been confirmed by the Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Omoni Nnamdi.
