Kaduna Massacre : Survivors call out to Buhari for security

Indigens of Igabi local government area of Kaduna state have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to come to their aid following alleged killing of 50 people and destruction of properties by suspected Boko Haram terrorists. Some villagers who spoke to the press in their respective villages Monday evening expressed disappointment over security challenges in the state. According to a survivor who spoke under anonimity for fear of further attack, about 50 and 51 bodies were discovered immediately after the mayhem. Some of the bodies, according to the him, were burnt by the gunmen.

According to him, some gunmen in an open confrontation, accused the villagers of providing security agents with information. Some gunmen, before lynching their culprit, confronted them, by saying, you people tell security agents about our operations, let them come and defend you now. He said, as they hide in some strategic places, they monitored all that the gunmen said in anger. Besides recorded deaths four houses and six vehicles were also destroyed in the attack that affected Kerawa, Rago, Marina, Zariyawa, Hashimawa, and Unguwar Barau all in Igabi Local Government Area.
