Imo judgment review : Ihedioha's lawyer begs for adjournment again

Emeka Ihedioha and the Peoples Democratic Party have again begged the Supreme Court to adjourn the hearing of their application for Imo governorship election judgment review to a later date.

The Nation reports that Ihedioha's lawyer, Kanu Agabi, said Governor Hope Uzodinma and the APC, the respondents, just served them some documents before the court sat. The senior lawyer, therefore, begged the apex court to give him time to respond to the documents, suggesting another hearing for Tuesday, March 3. Damian Dodo who is the lawyer to Uzodinma and the APC admitted serving Ihedioha's lawyer the documents but objected to another adjournment. The Independent National Electoral Commission's lawyer, Tanimu Inuwa, also objected to another adjournment. However, the court acceded to Agabi’s request and adjourned till March 3 for hearing.
