Pep Guardiola fire back at Barcelona president over UEFA ban comment

Man City manager, Pep Guardiola, has hit back at Josep Maria Bartomeu, Barcelona president, over his comment after City were slammed with a two-year ban from European elite competition by UEFA.
The Citizens got into the UEFA's hook after they were found guilty of breaching the body's financial fair play rule through indiscriminate inflation of their revenue. In a pronouncement made on Friday, February 14, City were banned from the Champions League competition for two seasons and fined with a staggering €30 million. Although the club have vowed to upturn the judgement while denying wrongdoing, reports flickering around suggested the English champions could also be stripped of their 2014 EPL title should FA decide to launch a separate investigation. Barcelona president, in a reaction, rubbed UEFA's back and submitted that his club will support the governing body in ensuring that all hands are on deck. “I would like to thank UEFA regarding FFP," Bartomeu said. “They’ve been doing fantastic work in the last couple of years.
