Ronaldo De Lima picks his dream team, ignores CR7

Brazilian football legend Ronaldo Delima Nazario was one of the best strikers in the world during his active playing days considering his excellent style of scoring goals.

Many goalkeepers who have retired in football would never forget the heat they saw while facing Ronaldo when he was playing football for Brazil national team and all the clubs he represented. In his 18 years career of playing the round leather game, Ronaldo Delima started from his native Brazil before going on to play in the Spanish La liga and Italian Serie A. In fact, the now 43-year-old played for Real Madrid and Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga before he retired from football. During his days in club football, Ronaldo Delima scored 352 goals for all the clubs he played for which helped him to win two Ballon d'Or award before he hanged his boots. Ronaldo played 98 games for the Brazilian national team scoring 62 goals and he is also a World Cup winner. After playing with and facing many footballers in his career, Ronaldo has now named his best XI where he picked Lionel Messi and ignored Cristiano Ronaldo. Legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is between the sticks, while Cafu, Maldini, Roberto Carlos and Cannavaro were picked as the best defenders ever. In the midfield, Ronaldo Delima picked Diego Maradona, Pirlo, Zinedine Zidane and Lionel Messi in his list. And while picking the two strikers up front, Ronaldo Delima picked himself and his fellow countryman Pele. But the surprise commission on this list is Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo who was ignored by Delima despite winning five Ballon d'Or awards. Before moving to the Italian Serie A, Cristiano Ronaldo played in the Premier League and Spanish La Liga where he won titles with Manchester United and Real Madrid. He won four Champions League titles with Real Madrid before he left the Santiago Bernabeu for a move to Juventus.
