Uzodinma takes action against Ihedioha at the supreme court

The Imo state government has filed an objection against Emeka Ihedioha who had called for the review of the Supreme Court's initial judgment. Governor Hope Uzodinma in his application said that that going by order 8 rule 16 of the Supreme Court rules of 2014, the decision of the judicial body cannot be revealed or revoked, except in cases in cases of clerical errors or accidental slip, The Cable reports. The application partly read: “The application constitutes an invitation to the Supreme Court to sit on appeal over its final decision.” Uzodinma, therefore, said that the application of the state's former governor is a call for the abuse of the court's processes.
