Pep Guardiola makes final decision after Man city UCL ban

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly told his players that he will not leave the Premier League side even if the Citizens should get demoted to the lower division.

Pep Guardiola's assurance comes few days after Manchester City were banned for two seasons from Champions League in which the club are planning to appeal. Since the Etihad club were banned by UEFA, there have been reports that gaffer Pep Guardiola could be leaving the side at the end of the ongoing Premier League season. Even if they put us in League Two, I will still be here. “This is a time for sticking together,''. Pep Guardiola reportedly told his players. During Pep Guardiola's first season at Manchester City ended without any trophy before the Spaniard steered his side to two Premier League wins after. But the former Barcelona handler was brought primarily to the Etihad stadium so as to help the side in their quest to win the Champions League. City's best outing under Pep Guardiola in the Champions League was reaching the quarterfinal last season. They still have the chance to win the Champions League this seasons starting from their tough round of 16 battle with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
