EPL: Man Utd reduce Pogba’s transfer fee by £30m

Manchester United chiefs have cut Paul Pogba’s valuation by £30million and are ready to sell the player in the summer, the UK Sun reports. United turned down offers for Pogba last summer, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looked to build his team around the midfielder. However, with Bruno Fernandes’ arrival and Pogba’s injury problems, the club is ready to do business. United’s hierarchy have now accepted the player’s desire to leave, is having a detrimental effect at Old Trafford. However, they still want to make a profit on Pogba, who they paid almost £100m to sign from Juventus in August 2016. An initial price tag of £180m was put on the 26-year-old, following his performances at the 2018 World Cup, which he helped France win. But United will now accept £150m for the player, who has made only eight appearances for United this season due to a persistent ankle injury.
