Real Madrid have qualified for the Copa del Rey quarter final following their 4-0 victory over Real Zaragoza. Raphael Varane, Lucas Vasquez, Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema were all on target for Los Blancos on the night. It took just six minute for Zinedine Zidane's side took go into the lead as Toni Kroos' cross eluded everyone in the box and was met by Varane for an easy finish. Former Man United Shinji Kagawa had his effort tipped over by Alphonse Areola as the home team were in search for an equalizer. Real took advantage of a defensive blunder as Kroos put Vasquez through for the Spaniard to double the advantage for his side two minutes after the half hour mark. Kagawa again wasted another scoring opportunity as he blazed a cut-back from his teammate over the bar. Then in the 72nd minute, Vinicus played a smart one-two with James Rodriguez and the Brazilian chipped the ball over the goalkeeper to make it 3-0. The onslaught was complete in the 80th minute as Dani Carvajal squares a a through ball to Benzema who finished into an empty net. Zidane's side were comfortable winners on the night and have booked their place into the last eight of the competition.
