Nigerians remember victims of Ikeja cantonment bomb blast

18 year after, lots of Nigerians still can't get over the horrors experienced due to the accidental detonation of a large stock of military high explosives at a storage facility in Ikeja Lagos, Nigeria, on 27 January 2002.  It was reported that the explosion and its aftermath effects was believed to have killed at least 1,100 people and displaced over 20,000, with many thousands injured or homeless. Many Nigerians have taken to their twitter handles to remember all those who lost their lives as well as pray that the country should never experience such a dark day ever again.
