Ballon D’Or 2019: Nigeria’s vote card revealed as Messi wins sixth award

Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, won his sixth Ballon d’Or award in Paris on Monday night. Messi took the prize home, ahead of Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool and Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Argentine picked up 686 voting points to Van Dijk’s 679.
        A top journalist in each FIFA-registered country, is given a vote card to choose his five top players, Sam Audu of Score Nigeria was selected from Nigeria. Audu picked Messi, Van Dijk, Ronaldo, Mbappe and Mane in that order. England’s voter, Henry Winter, picked van Dijk has his No.1, with Messi, Ronaldo, Raheem Sterling and Alisson his other selections.
