Federal Govt condemns the attack on Nigerian traders in Ghana

The recent attack on Nigerian traders by Ghanaians has been condemned by the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

Dabiri-Erewa condemned the attacks, called for peace and order to be enforced by security agencies in the country. She said that the attacks are unnecessary since the leadership of both nations have intervened in similar issues recently. The NIDCOM's boss said: "I hereby appeal for calm from both sides and implore the law enforcement agencies to protect the lives and properties especially that of Nigerians from being attacked pending the resolution of the matter."
