Senate swears in Senator Abdullahi Danbaba

The Senate on Tuesday, November 19, swore-in Senator Abdullahi Danbaba representing Sokoto South senatorial district. Danbaba of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) replaced Shehu Tambuwal (from the All Progressives Congress) recently sacked by the Court of Appeal.
        The PDP senator took the oath of office at the floor of the upper chamber during the swearing in ceremony. It was earlier reported that Senator Tambuwal, a legislator representing Sokoto South at the National Assembly and on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was on Wednesday, October 30, sacked by an appeal court sitting in the state.
