Nigerian Man Arrested In Cambodia In A Methamphetamine Sting Operation

On November 11, 2019, the Department of anti-drug collaborated with the Dan Dan express bus company in a bust coordinated by Mr. Seth Vannak, Phnom Penh prosecutor, to seize a shipment of drugs which was being delivered from Vietnam to Sihanoukville. The police found six packs of ICE drug (methamphetamine), weighing 5895.82 grams, hidden in a speaker. After the investigation, the police arrested a Nigerian man, NDUKWU JONATHAN CHUKWUJEKWU, a 26-year-old footballer, and two Cambodian women, Pok Sreyleak, 28 years old, and Yun Sreynou, 20 years old. At 3:30 pm on the same day, the Cambodian police checked the house of the Nigerian man and found more evidence such as 9 grams of marijuana, a speaker, three phones, nine pumps, one cleaning machine, three passports. The police confiscated the 5895,82 grams of "ice" and 9 grams of marijuana.
