Expected Super Eagle's starting line up against the Squirrels of Benin

Nigeria who are three-time African champions will on Wednesday, November 13, begin their quest to qualify for the 2021 African Cup of Nations by facing Benin in Uyo.
According to records, The two team have met five times before in which the Super Eagles won all the encounters and this will boost the morale of Gernot Rohr's men ahead of the encounter. Out of all the 23 players invited for this game by Gernot Rohr, only Bryan Idowu was unable to make the trip because of traveling issues and he has been replaced with Enyimba’s Anaemena. However, Nigeria will be missing the services of first-choice goalkeeper Francis Uzoho in this game due to the injury he sustained against Brazil. And Daniel Akpeyi is expected to be picked ahead of Maduka Okoye and Ikechukwu Ezenwa because of his experience in African football. Akpeyi has not been in goal for Nigeria since the Super Eagles' semifinal defeat against Algeria at the 2019 Nations Cup. And in the defense, Chidozie Awaziem is expected to be at the right-back position even though he will face competition from Shehu Abdullahi. Mikel Agu, Alex Iwobi, and Wilfred Ndidi are expected to control the midfield for Nigeria against Benin Republic. Upfront, captain Ahmed Musa has returned to the team, but he may have to start from the bench as the duo of Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen will lead the attack for Super Eagles.  Predicted Eleven Daniel Akpeyi: C Awaziem, Jamilu Collins, W Troost-Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo; Wilfred Ndidi, Mikel Agu, Alex Iwobi; Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Samuel Kalu. The match is expected to kick off 5pm, Nigerian time.
