Your 100bn airport is the most expensive in the world - Oshiomole to Dickson

As campaigns heat up in Bayelsa ahead of the election on November 16, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, is asking questions concerning the N100 billion airport project by Governor Seriake Dickson.
The amount is said to have been approved and spent on the construction of the runway for the state's airport. According to Oshiomhole, who spoke in Abuja when he hosted Heineken Lokpobiri, an aspirant of the party, the project in Bayelsa remains the most expensive in the entire world. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the meeting between Oshiomhole and Lokpobiri was held to pacify the latter who had taken the APC to court over the outcome of the party's primary election. Oshiomhole was quoted as calling the runway construction 'an endless project'. The national chairman asked the Dickson administration to henceforth stop accusing the federal government of refusing to grant license for the full operation of the airport. “You know the fact that Bayelsa airport has been flooded. Is it President Muhammadu Buhari that flooded the airport?" He queried.
