Mbappe breaks Messi's UCL record after scoring 3 goals in PSG's 5-0 win over Club Brugge

French star Kylian Mbappe has become the youngest footballer to score 15 goals in the Champions League. Mbappe achieved the rare feat after scoring a sensational second half hat-trick for Paris Saint-Germain against Club Brugge on Tuesday night, October 22.
The forward was introduced in the 52nd minute of the clash, with PSG leading 1-0 after Mauro Icardi's early opener. He went on to double his side's advantage within ten minutes of his introduction, before setting up Icardi just two minutes later as PSG extended their lead. And the former Monaco man completed his hat-trick with a quickfire double around the 80th minute mark as PSG marched to a 5-0 win. His magical performance in Europe's most elite competition means he has now scored 15 Champions League goals at the age of just 20 years and 306 days. That feat now has him as the youngest player to bring up the milestone, shattering the record previously held by Messi, who achieved the same aged 21 years and 288 days. Mbappe has been struggling with a hamstring in recent weeks and will now be hoping to add to his tally as the season rolls over.
