Boko Haram terrorist on most wanted list arrested

The Nigerian army has arrested 10 Boko Haram terrorists in Pula Borno state. This was disclosed by the army which said the terrorists were arrested on Wednesday, October 9.
        The operation that led to the arrest of the terrorists was conducted in conjunction with members of the civilian joint task force. One of the arrested suspects, Alhaji Bukar Modu alias Modu China (Chief Driver), was one of the terrorists whose name appeared in the Army Most Wanted list. Recall that the Nigerian Army on Wednesday, October 9, revealed that some Boko Haram members surrendered to its troops after they were forced out of their hideouts as a result of hunger and unending bombardments. The army in a statement by operations media coordinator, Colonel Aminu Iliyasu, gave the names of the surrendered insurgents as Ramat Mohammed, Alhaji Brazil, Bukar Gambo, Waziri Bukar and Bashuna Musa.Going further, the army claims that troops operating in various theatres have continued to record significant achievements. He said that troops consequently intensified their operations nationwide. He said they denied freedom of actions to criminals in their respective areas.
