Babcock reacts to allegation of harassment against lecturer

Babcock University, Ogun state, has reacted to viral allegations of sexual harassment on social media against one of its lecturers, Akamo.
        The institution said that the accused lecturer has ceased being a member of its staff as his contract with the university has been terminated at the end of the 2018/2019 academic session, The Cable reports. Babcock's director of communication and marketing, Joshua Suleiman, said that Akamo was accused on Twitter of requesting cash and sex for grades. Suleiman said: "His contract with the University was terminated at the end of the 2018/2019 academic session, on grounds that the University viewed with serious concerns because of the University’s hallowed moral and academic values. We wish also to state clearly and emphatically, that Babcock University has zero tolerance for sexual crimes.”
