Transfer deadline: Man United take second decision on signing Mandzukic from Juventus

Manchester United have taken a second decision to sign Striker Mario Mandzukic from Juventus as reported by Sky Sport Italy on Thursday. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are said to be back in talks with the Serie A champions over a potential deal for Mandzukic today.
The Premier League giants are looking to bring in a deadline-day replacement for Romelu Lukaku as he finally closes in on his switch to Inter Milan. Mandzukic had been tipped to be part of a swap deal with Juventus involving Lukaku and Paulo Dybala but that move fell through. Mandzukic scored 10 goals in 33 appearances for Juventus last season. The 33-year-old was not part of the plans of Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri, for next season.
