COZA: Femi Falana debunks rumour of being Timi Dakolo's lawyer

Human right lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr Femi Falana, has debunked reports that he is taking up the Timi Dakolo's rape case. Certain reports had been shared on social media claiming that Falana's chambers was handling the case of the Dakolo's and thus bringing heat on the accused.
The SAN has however dispelled the rumours and stated that he was only contacted by the Dakolo's over fear of their petition being ignored and not being investigated. Falana stated that upon being contacted, he reached out to the inspector general of police to do the needful, to which actions were taken. Due to his contribution, it was then being alleged that the SAN was representing Timi and Busola Dakolo but in a message sent out, Falana, categorically stated that he is not representing the couple and his chambers is not taking up their case.  Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has ordered a take-over of the case against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) by Busola Dakolo.
