Abduction of innocent girls not supported by any religion

The Nigerian Army has decried the abduction of girls especially in the northeast, Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai said that the practice has no basis in any religion.
        Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai on Tuesday, June 25, said that no religion supports the kidnapping of innocent girls by terrorists. Tukur made this comment in Maiduguri, Borno state capital, as he spoke with the national association of women journalists led by its president, Ifeyinwa Omowole. The Nigerian Army boss said that the force is strongly behind the association in its move to sensitise communities in the northeast on the need to educate the girl-child.
