Alexis Sanchez emerges top transfer target for Italian League side

Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a move to Serie A giants Inter Milan at the end of this season. The Chilean failed to impress in over 18 months at Old Trafford despite earning over £500,000 per week wage, Sanchez is also expected to replace want away star Mauro Icardi who wants to leave the club this summer Italian League side Inter Milan are reportedly planning to land Manchester United flop Alexis Sanchez this summer.
The 30-year-old has failed to impress at Old Trafford since he joined them from Arsenal in the winter of 2018. Sanchez has scored just three goals and six assists in 32 Premier League appearances in close to one and a half season at the club. He has also endured heavy criticisms from the Red Devils fans owing to the huge weekly wages he earns since his move in January 2018. Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants the former Barcelona star out of the club to reduce the wages. Also, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Milan outfit are keen to take him to the San Siro, with his agent already meeting with club representatives. Sanchez is the highest paid United player with £500,000 per week wage, and his departure would free up space for the Red Devils to sign new players. Meanwhile, the player would have to take pay-cut if he desires to return to the Serie A and start afresh at the San Siro Stadium. Sanchez earlier spent five years of his career at Udinese before his dream move to join Barcelona in the summer of 2011.
The Chilean's arrival could see the Italian League giants replace Mauro Icardi, who could exit the club at the end of the ongoing season. Inter will also target Roma forward and former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko to replace their No 9. Meanwhile, the club are also on the verge of losing their manager Luciano Spalletti with Antonio Conte tipped to be named for the job. Legit.ng earlier reported that Alexis Sanchez could be on his way out of Manchester United as Serie A champions Juventus are making a move for the Chilean only if he accepts a pay cut. The Bianconeri believes Sanchez and Cristiano Ronaldo partnership in attack will be formidable but are being put off by his £500,000-a-week wages at Old Trafford. Juve have already sealed a deal to pay Sanchez's former Arsenal teammate, Aaron Ramsey, a whopping £400,000-per-week when he switches to Turin in the summer.
