Alex Iwobi sets new Premier League record in Arsenal's win over Watford

Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi set a new Premier League record after helping Arsenal beat Watford 1-0 at Vicarage Road on Monday night. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's tenth minute goal was all the visitors needed to secure maximum points away from home. Barely one minute after the goal, the Hornets captain Troy Deeney was handed his marching order for a serious tackle on Lucas Torreira.
Stats reveals that the Nigerian forward completed seven key passes during the fixture and set a new record in a Premier League match this season. According to All Nigeria Soccer, the 22-year-old made five final passes more than teammates Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil. Former Flying Eagles star Isaac Success was also in action for the Hornets in their defeat at home to Arsenal making just one key pass all through the game. Other players with just one major pass were Daryl Janmaat, Christian Kabasele, Abdoulaye Doucouré, Will Hughes and Troy Deeney. Alex Iwobi had one shot on target after making attempts three different times and also had 88.7 percent passing accuracy.
