New stats reveals why Ronaldo is a game changer than Messi in the Champions League

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 125 goals in the Champions League in his career, Lionel Messi is second with 108 goals while Karim Benzema is third on 60 goals. Juventus are looking to win the Champions League for the first time since 1996 Cristiano Ronaldo has netted 64 of his 125 goals in the Champions League in the knockout stages of the competition. The Portuguese talisman is currently the highest goal scorer in the competition than any other player. Ronaldo's goal against Ajax on Wednesday, March 10, at the Johan Cryuff Arena, took his tally to another landmark of 125 strikes.
His closest rival Lionel Messi has scored 108 goals while Real Madrid's Karim Benzema has notched 60. Ronaldo signed for Juventus last summer for £88million as the Serie A champions are looking to win their first European Cup since the 1995-96 season and the 34-year-old is looking to make Juve's dream become reality when he scored a sensational hat-trick in their round of 16 tie against Atletico Madrid in the second leg. Though, Max Allegri's side were held to a 1-1 draw by Ajax, but Juventus will be banking on Ronaldo to produce another five-star display in the second leg at the Allianz Arena.
