Police Arrest Three Suspects Over Child Theft In Ogun

The Ogun State police command has arrested a three-man child stealing syndicate linked to different cases of kidnapping in the state. The state police command also rescued three children who were already sold out by the group to unsuspecting persons in Anambra state.
        One of the children, a five-year-old boy has been reunited with his parent while the other two are still within police care. According to the police, the modus operandi of the syndicate is to go to different neighborhoods where their targeted children are and rent an apartment, make friends with the unsuspecting parents, gain their trust and sometimes become a child caregiver in the absence of the unsuspecting parents and finally disappear with the children.
