US: Shooting at California bar, at least 11 shot

No fewer than 11 people have been shot at a Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, California which police say began at 23:20 local time on Wednesday, warning that the number of victims may rise.
Police responded to reports of shooting at the bar, 65km from Los Angeles, believed to have at least 200 people attending a college country music night at the time.
Video shown on local media station showed people with bullet wounds being carried away from the scene.
Officials say the suspect is dead inside the venue but did not mentioned how he died.
Reports say the suspect may have used smoke grenades and at least one gun during the attack which forced people to flee, breaking windows with chairs to escape the shooting.
