BREAKING: Atiku Abubakar Wins PDP Primaries

Former Vice - President of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has emerged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2019 election.

The Chairman of the PDP Convention Committee and Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, announced the results of the primary earlier today. Atiku Abubakar emerged the winner, after the PDP primary held at Adokiye Amesiamaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The former Vice – President, polled  1, 532 votes while Aminu Tambuwal, one of the other candidates polled 693 votes to place second.

 Bukola Saraki, 317 votes.
Jonah Jang, 19 votes.
 Datti Ahmed, 5 votes.
David Mark, 35 votes.
Tanimu Turaki, 65 votes.
Sule Lamido, 96 votes.
Attahiru Bafarawa, 48 votes.
Ibrahim Dankwambo, 111 votes.
Ahmed Makarfi, 74 votes and Rabiu Kwankwaso, 158 votes.
