Conor McGregor to be presented with lifelike statue for 30th birthday

Former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, Conor McGregor has been honoured with a stunning lifelike statue as a birthday gift.

Valued at £50,000 ($66,000), the statue will be unveiled at London's JD Malat Gallery on McGregor's 30th birthday, July 14.

Lithuanian sculptor Edgar Askelovic spent five months working on the statue. Askelovic, also known as Aspencow, said it was
an "honour" that the Irish fighter has accepted the gift, which weighs 100 kg and was designed solely from photographs.
