Argentina investigate World Cup guide on flirting with Russian women

The Argentina Football Association (AFA) will investigate a manual distributed ahead of the World Cup that included a chapter entitled "What to do to have an opportunity with a Russian woman."

A course given by Russian language teacher Eduardo Pennisi at AFA's headquarters in Buenos Aires on Tuesday was directed at executives, players, coaches and journalists who will go
to the World Cup in Russia this summer.

Those in attendance were reportedly given the manual, titled "Russian Language and Culture," which included a chapter on how to seduce Russian women.

According to Clarin, the class was then interrupted as those in attendance were asked to return the manuals before they were redistributed with the controversial pages removed.

"Russian ladies like men who take initiative," read one entry. "If you don't have confidence in yourself then you need to practice speaking with many women."

Another read: "Normally, Russian women pay attention to important things, but of course, you will find women who pay attention to material things -- on money, if you are attractive, what you tell them. Do not worry. There are many beautiful women in Russia and not all of them are for you. Be selective."

Pennisi told Clarin that the AFA approved the manual, which he authored, and that the section was not written with bad intentions.

But according to La Nacion, the AFA is investigating whether it had been sabotaged during the printing process.

"I'm going to investigate why what happened happened and if someone tried to stain all the work we've been doing," AFA executive Alejandro Taraborrelli told La Nacion.
