Historic US-North Korea summit to hold in Singapore

The historic meeting between US president Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, has been slated to take place on June 12 in Singapore.
The date and venue of the meeting, which is the first ever summit between sitting North Korean and US leaders, was announced by Trump via his official twitter account.
"The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th. We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!" Trump said on Twitter.
Mr Trump shocked the world when he said in April that he had accepted an invitation to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, after a meeting with South Korea's diplomatic delegation.
