Nigeria's Senate Committee on Appropriation on Tuesday, invited the central bank governor Godwin Emefiele, minister of finance Kemi Adeosun and minister of defence Mansur Dan Ali, over the withdrawal of $462 million to buy helicopters from the federal account in March without the approval of lawmakers.
Emefiele, Adeosun and Dan Ali were given one week ultimatum to submit their findings and appear before the Senate.
Senator Sam Anyanwu had drawn the attention of the senate to the alleged expenditure of 462 million dollars by the Federal Government for the purchase of helicopters.
